Scott Leishman: Associate Director of Career Services, West Point AOG

The Old Grad Story:

Scott served as an Infantry Officer for five years, before leaving the Army to begin a storied career that has spanned sales, commercial strategy, marketing, recruiting, and executive roles within a multitude of companies. Additionally, Scott received his J.D. from Fordham Law in 1990. Today, he couples his immense wealth of knowledge and experience with his love of coaching and mentorship to empower graduates as the Assistant Director of Career Services in the AOG.

Old Grad Knowledge:

People often forget that resumé development needs to be optimized against what you want to do next. We can help you figure out what elements of your background are most relevant to your goals, and help you highlight those experiences in a way that employers can understand.

We pump the hell out of networking! About 60% of the grads we work with who get their dream jobs spend significant time networking. There are a lot of people further down the road who can help – talk to grads in roles you’re interested in.
